ipl boycott by indian teams is an opportunity to get the pakistani 20 20 game up and set up right 1st time round
and use the mistakes of ipl such as this boycott to have games now for practice of pakistan national team against habib bank, pia, kenya, zimbabwe and canada this year for launch of 20 20 franchise next year
IPL mistakes at launch are many such as too many foreign players and too much cost of buying a franchise to burden financially the team before it can even make a profit for the one individual in purchase & maximum 3 players foreign players
therefore i suggest simple steps stuff such as multi ownerships bid for 20 20 teams in pakistan,
preference to local talent in auction phase> draft for local talent done first & followed
by international talent draft & salary cap at $1million& max 2 players per team can be $1million salary if team is making profit not allowed if team not profitable & players association 2 represent views of players nationally.
National team 2 play winners in best of 5 games to drum up interest in 20 20 games across pakistan quetta, karachi, lahore , multan, peshawar (after a period) rawalpindi , hyderabad> teams required to have at least 5 sponsors supporting the team financiallyexcluding league sponsors and limit of foreign players – no boycotting of indian players regardless
of whether they wear silly hats {:) no one minds the sunglasses
